[ Roman was definitely not in the spirit of things, but if it meant he could get something in return? Yeah, he'd play along with this.

In his mailbox, Iwaizumi will find an assortment of junk meant as a gift: a ladle, a can of soup, some shampoo and a bath rug. It's in a grocery bag. His attempt at being festive ends at writing Merry Christmas on the bag with a marker. ]

[oikawa could not believe he had forgotten to get the daikon while he was out shopping for the stuff he would need to make iwa-chan agedashi tofu. this of course, was a tester for himself just to see if he needed to do anything differently before he actually made iwa-chan his favorite dish. he was planning on surprising him later when the other got back from practicing at the sports center.

he had a feeling the other wasn't coping as well with suddenly being deaf and all. so he figured surprising the other with his favorite dish would help put the other in a happier frame of mind. anyway, he had gotten back a few minutes before he heard the front door open and close.]

Hello??

[after a few minutes and getting no response meant that iwa-chan had come back. he fidgets a bit. godddd where can he hide this for now??? he quickly gets a bowl and places it over the plate and sets it in the microwave before wiping his hands on his apron. once the plate is hidden away he makes his way to the front and offers iwa-chan a smile and a wave.]

[ meanwhile, the minute he walked in, iwaizumi made his way to the couch and just promptly fell face first into the cushions.

he... can't really believe what just happened. he doesnt' even know how to tell oikawa about what just happened. what if he just forgets the whole thing happened ]

[trashyking]

[oikawa smiles as he approaches iwaizumi.] Hey baby~

[okay so... he might be taking some advantages over iwa-chan being deaf. and that's calling him cutesy as fuck nicknames. bc iwa-chan can't hear them, therefore he can't hurt him! he falters a bit tho when he sees the other face first in the couch.

he frowns and scurries over to get his notebook and pen

are you okay iwa-chan?

and with that he lightly taps iwa-chan on the shoulder.]

[ he raises his head

looks at the note

and plants face first back into the couch ]

[this isn't concerning, not at all!!! he worries his bottom lip in between his teeth as he looks at iwa-chan.

he scribbles something else down and places a hand on iwa-chan's shoulder and gives it a light shake.

hajime what's wrong?]

You're not gonna like what I have to say.

[trashyking]

[he frowns a bit as he continues to stare at iwa-chan. he then quickly scribbles down something else and shows it to the other.

what is it? what happened?]

Just... give me a second to figure out how to say it.

[can we even rp this???? idk but we're doin it. he storms in to the house and makes a b-line straight for the couch. once he's close to it he collapses on to it and groans.]

[trashyking]

[he scrubs at his face.] Ugh, I just... ran into someone unwanted a few minutes ago. But it's alright.

[kingbeater]

[ looks at him and decides to flop on top of him

what a good boyfriend ]

[trashyking]

[he wheezes] I- Iwa-chan you're gonna crush my lungs!!!

[kingbeater]

[ shifts so he's still lying on oikawa but not really putting his weight on him ]

[whines] Iwa-chaaaan.

[oikawa doesn't have anything planned today except for moping around the house and he plans on sticking with it.]

iwaizumi can't have that, can he?

so whenever oikawa plans on sitting on the couch, iwaizumi is quick to sit next to him and just lean on him, putting his full weight on top of him ]

[trashyking]

[he whines] Iwa-chaaan you're heavy!!

[kingbeater]

And you're moping.

[trashyking]

No m'not.

[kingbeater]

[ pushes against oikawa, making himself heavier ]

You are.
